EGOEGG is an all-female DJ group in the Dig Delight Direct Drive DJ franchise. They were first introduced on the DIGGLER'S HIGH official sites[1][2] and are (chronologically) the first unit of Generation II, labelled as the Groovy Mix Trainees (グルミク研究生?).
After three of its members (namely Koshiba Miu, Yoshida Sakura and Aoi Mio) stepped down, their successors were announced on September 12, 2025, and the style of this unit got an overhaul, changing into an all-DJ unit.
It consists of Kanda Hare, Shiodome Raika, Tanimachi Jiu and Ichinohashi Mikumo. The music producer of their songs is Peta, Inc..
Description[]
EGOEGG as a group is focused more on live performances compared to the other D4DJ units. Instead of using established musical talent or voice actresses, auditions for EGOEGG were fully open to the general public.
In-universe, EGOEGG is originally a DJ unit from Fuei High School. According to Kusakabe Toru, their performances are "wild", where the members "fight over" the control of turntables and mic. They were one step away from being invited to D4 FES. until suddenly they disbanded three years prior to the main storyline.

- The first name of the members originates from optical phenomenon: "Sunny (晴れ Hare?)", "Rainy (雨?)", "Lightning (雷?)", and "Cloudy (曇り Kumori?)". The last name originates from the road junctions of the Metropolitan Expressways: "Kanda", "Tanimachi", "Shiodome", and "Ichinohashi".
- EGOEGG is formerly the 2nd unit to have a rock music genre after RONDO in the entire series, and after the style overhaul, currently the only unit to contain only DJs.
- Despite being introduced first in Generation II, EGOEGG only appeared in Groovy Mix's storyline after A Bad Cynic Doggo's debut.
- EGOEGG is the first unit in the series to have their logo and image color changed.
- There is a possibility that EGOEGG's circumstances for rebranding was worked into their lore via the unit originating from Fuei High School, disbanding, and reuniting three years later.
