Furuya Tōru (古谷 徹) was born on July 31, 1953 in Yokohama, Japan. He voices Kofune Ryujin and is affiliated with Aoni Pro agency.
Background[]
Toru began his acting career as a member of Gekidan Himawari, a children's acting troupe. He is most known for the roles of Amuro Ray (both in the original Mobile Suit Gundam and its following Gundam sequels), Pegasus Seiya (Saint Seiya), Yamcha (Dragon Ball), and Tuxedo Mask (Sailor Moon).
