Hanamaki Towa (花巻乙和?) is a character in the D4DJ franchise, and is a member of the group Photon Maiden.
Appearance[]
Towa has bright fair skin, lime green eyes and short light blue hair with bangs. She has a short height and a slender figure,
Description[]
Towa actively attends the local festivals due to her family's participation in the local youth organization. Once, a photo of her at a local event went viral on social media. As a huge idol enthusiast, she still goes to idol concerts and tries to learn from their performances.[1]
Personality[]
Towa is a hardworking and energetic girl, however, despite her cheerful disposition, she easily gets nervous when performing onstage[2] and sometimes has moments when she feels insecure. She loves sweet foods but is often scolded by Ibuki for wanting to eat high-calorie foods before performances.
She also tends to get flustered when receiving compliments from her groupmates, or when she is forced to get vaccinated by the school nurse.[3]
Etymology[]
Hanamaki (花巻) can be split into two parts. Hana (花), meaning flower or blossoms, and Maki (巻) meaning scroll or book.
Towa (乙和) can also be split into two parts. To (乙) meaning second and Wa (和) meaning harmony, peace.

- Adding to her dislike of doctors, injections and powdered medicine, Towa doesn't like infirmaries.
