Seto Rika

Prior to Merm4id's formation, Saori and Rika had not interacted at all, and they even referred to each other with their last names and honorifics. They had a few seminars together, but had never talked to each other; however Saori remembered Rika because of her loud and bold personality, and even regarded her as a "troublesome person." Upon finding Saori playing around with DJ equipment in a music store, Rika became intrigued about the former, and then chased her after Saori saw Rika watching her. After reluctantly accepting Rika's invitation to come with her to the next party they were having, the two started getting closer, and this eventually led to the creation of Merm4id. Rika often encourages and pushes Saori to do things out of her comfort zone, usually for the greater good.

Mizushima Marika

Fellow unit member. Marika often compliments Saori's DJ skills as well as Saori herself, trying to increase the latter's self-esteem. However, Marika does also like teasing Saori, and tends to get scolded by her when she and Rika's antics are about to get out of hand.

Matsuyama Dalia

Fellow unit member. Saori, like the other members of Merm4id, admire Dalia's dancing skills. Similarly to Marika, she often compliments Saori's DJ skills and reassures that she's doing really well during performances.

Initially, the two were each other's closest friends. Although this has changed somewhat with the expansion of the relationship between the characters in the future, the two still remain quite good friends. So, in one of Dalia's cards, it was shown that she is one of the rare people who are able to break Saori's Straight Man personality. Dalia said that she enjoys seeing Saori when she's caught off guard.

Izumo Saki

Saori seems very protective toward Saki since she is the youngest member of Photon Maiden.

Niijima Ibuki

Saori later befriends Ibuki during the mountain trip between the two, Yuka and Dalia. Saori wishes she could be more like Ibuki due to the latter's optimistic and hardworking attitude, although Ibuki thinks Saori is fine the way she is now. Ibuki is also impressed by Saori's DJing skills.

Tsukimiyama Nagisa

Nagisa and Saori were classmates in high school, though they didn't keep in touch after graduation. However after meeting again in the hot springs event, they became closer and started hanging out more.

Miyake Aoi

According to her introduction, Saori had seen Aoi performing before and also talked with her in the past, however she believes that Aoi wouldn't remember someone like her. In Saori's D4 FES. card's story, she finds Aoi's playstyle very cool and admires her stage presence.

Sakurada Miyu

Saori is Miyu's private tutor and one of her maids as well. Based on an Area Conversation between them, Saori teases Miyu by treating her like a princess (eg. by calling her an ojou-sama), much to the latter's chagrin. Saori remembers that she was initially nervous upon hearing that she would tutor a rich girl like Miyu, but was surprised about how cute and honest she is, and how quickly they became friends.

The two eventually become quite close. So, one of the scenes in All Mix shows that Miyu's name is written in Saori's phone as "Miyu-chan" with a heart as a beloved friend, while for the Saori's third birthday celebration in-game, Miyu gives her two tickets for dinner at an expensive hotel restaurant, explaining that she wanted celebrate it with her and look at the nightscape together, after which the two girls blush and feel shy.

Himegami Shano

As shown in D4 FES. -M!X COLORS-, Saori is a huge fan of Shano, voicing her desire to see a Lynx Eyes comeback. She thinks Shano's voice is absolutely amazing and doesn't hesitate to tell Rika that Lynx Eyes were a great unit and that Shano is incredible, blushing while saying this.
