Koiwai Kotori (小岩井 ことり?) was born on February 15, 1990 in Kyoto, Japan. She voices Kaibara Michiru and is the music producer of her unit. She is affiliated with PEERLESS GERBERA agency.
Background[]
Kotori initially took interest in voice acting after hearing Otani Ikue voice Pikachu in the Pokemon anime. After working as a make-up model in high school, she used her connections and prior voicework experience in commercials to break into the anime voice acting industry.[1] She made her debut in 2011.
Kotori has a wide breadth of knowledge about computers that she learned while she was still in school. In November 2016, she announced that she had earned her Level 1 MIDI Certification.[2]

Kotori began DJing in 2019.[3] On April 2 of that same year, she announced that she was accepted into Mensa, a non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to interact with those with IQs in the top 2% of the population.[4] Later in 2019, she launched her own ASMR sound label, "kotoneiro".[5]
She also sampled her voice for the VOCALOIDs MEIKA Hime & Mikoto, who were released on March 30, 2019.

- When asked about Hayate and Kokoa's relationship during a discussion of a card with their kiss during the Abyssmare x UniChØrd stream, Kotori responded positively, saying "I think dating within the unit is okay".[7]
