Nyochio (にょちお, official name: VD- 2 CiO) is a handmade cat-shaped audio player owned by Ohnaruto Muni since childhood.[1] It is considered to be the mascot of the D4DJ franchise, appearing across merchandise, promotional campaigns and in various in-game objects in D4DJ Groovy Mix.
Starting in October 2022, as part of a campaign to commemorate the 1st anniversary of Bushiroad's Online Store, Bushiroad Creative began distributing merchandise of Nyochio plushies,[2] which would later extend to other units receiving Nyochio plushies themed after them.
Although it appears to be an inanimate object, Nyochio is sometimes depicted blinking and changing its facial expressions. In one instance Nyochio can be even seen covering its eyes with its "arms", in horror.
Appearance[]
Nyochio has the appearance of a plump calico cat plushie with small triangle shaped limbs and a brown heart shape on its right side. Because of its pudgy texture, it is capable of being stretched, squeezed or bounced around.

Happy Around![]
As part of D4DJ's 2023 April Fools Campaign, the official Twitter launched a mini-project with the basis being that Muni misplaced Nyochio. However, it would not only turn out that Nyochio turned itself into Bushiroad trading cards, but the other Happy Around! members turned into Nyochio versions of themselves.
In the end, the entire scenario was just dream of Muni's and she ended up finding Nyochio. Despite being a prank for fans, Bushiroad would actually release the Nyochio-themed merchandise of the Happy Around! members later on.[3]
Peaky P-key[]
King Nyochio (にょち王 NyochiOh?) is the Nyochio themed after Peaky P-key. It was named by Takagi Miyu during the 17th episode of "Wednesday's D4DJ MashUp!"[4]
Merm4id[]
Mamepichi (まめぴち?) is the Nyochio themed after Merm4id. It was named by Hirajima Natsumi and Hazuki Himari during the 48th episode of "Wednesday's D4DJ" as merchandise for Merm4id 6th LIVE Summer Killer WIN!!!![5]
Lyrical Lily[]
Oushun Fabulous Hakuchiku (桜春ファビュラス白竹?) is the Nyochio themed after Lyrical Lily. It was named by Watase Yuzuki during the 57th episode of "Wednesday's D4DJ" as merchandise for Lyrical Lily 4th LIVE A Day of Treasure.[6] This name integrates the first kanji in the surnames of the members.

Abyssmare[]
Numao (沼男?) is the Nyochio themed after Abyssmare. It was named by Sumi Tomomi Jiena during the 52nd episode of "Wednesday's D4DJ" as merchandise for Abyssmare 1st Concert -ARK-.[8]
A Bad Cynic Doggo[]
Though unnamed, this is the Nyochio themed after A Bad Cynic Doggo. It was released in commemoration of D4DJ Groovy Mix's 4.5th Anniversary.[9]
Trivia[]
- The latter part of its official name being "2 CiO" is a pun on Japanese wordplay with Nyochio's name.
- In Nyochio's April Fools' song, Muni is described as being "Nyochio's mama".
- In Groovy Mix's Growth Live mode, there are Nyochio buses that take you around the map based on the image color of the respective lead character you're working on.
