Trivia

  • The surnames of the members are based off of train stations around Japan; Aoyagi, Tsukimiyama, Yano and Miyake. Aoi's first name is also the name of a train station, albeit spelled with different kanji.
  • The Kanji of the name 燐舞曲 can be split into three parts. 燐 meaning phosphorus, 舞 meaning dance, and 曲 meaning song.
    • In addition, unlike the other units, RONDO is the only unit whose primary name isn't derived from English letters.
  • RONDO is one of two DJ units to feature a live musician (guitarist Tsukimiyama Nagisa). The other is Happy Around!, with Togetsu Rei as the unit's keyboardist.
    • It is also the only unit that performs rock music in addition to the typical electronic DJ music of other units.
  • The way of the composition of RONDO's song may be the most complicated among all units in the franchise. According to Momono Haruna, during the recording, multiple sets of lyrics were written while the cast were singing one of the set, leading to a long recording section, which may go over the next day.[2]
    • Momono also jokes about it that, if you see a glorious meal during dinner break, it means that you're not going home today.
  • Outside of LOVE!HUG!GROOVY!! and SUPERSTAR, RONDO is the only unit without songs which feature all members singing simultaneously.
  • RONDO is one of the only units (along with Peaky P-key and Lyrical Lily) that has provided a theme song to a franchise outside of D4DJ.
  • RONDO is officially recognized as a verified artist on Spotify and YouTube Music.
