Shizaki Kanon (志崎 樺音?) is a voice actress from Tokyo. She is currently a freelancer, and used to be affiliated with Ace Crew Entertainment before. She was the former voice actress of Togetsu Rei and a former member of Happy Around!.
Biography[]
Kanon began learning to play the piano in the first grade[1]. She kept at this for the next twelve years, also learning classical ballet and calligraphy. In 2014, as part of Senzoku Gakuen College of Music's foreign exchange program, she performed in a live band at Syracuse University in New York. She later graduated from Senzoku Gakuen with a degree in Rock & Pop Vocals.[2]
Though Kanon had prior experience in the entertainment industry, her work as a voiceover artist began in August of 2018 with Shirokane Rinko of the BanG Dream! franchise, and she debuted as the band's live keyboardist in November of that same year. She is also part of the BanG Dream!-originated seiyuu trio "Yabee Yatsu" along with Tsumugi Risa and Otsuka Sae.
She is described as a shy but incredibly charming person.
On August 14, 2022 it was announced that Kanon would step down from her role as Rei in the D4DJ franchise.[3] Later at the same month, on August 31, she left Ace Crew Entertainment after the contract between her and the agency expired.[4]
