Takeshita Miiko (竹下みいこ?) is a character in the D4DJ franchise and is a member of the group Lyrical Lily.
Appearance[]
Miiko has short, blonde hair, with her bangs being parted in the middle of her forehead. She wears light pink colored headphones with white ribbons on both sides of them. She has bright green eyes and a small ahoge sticking up on her head.
Background[]
Miiko's family, the Takeshita Group, is known for its technological inventions.
Personality[]
Miiko loves to play and she also loves her fellow members of Lyrical Lily. She is always cheerful and can get along with anyone. She has a dream about traveling all over the world and making friends in many different countries. While others might think it's hard to figure out what she's thinking, often times she's not thinking at all. She's the type of person to have fun and laugh at haunted houses and horror movies.[1][2]
Etymology[]
Takeshita (竹下) can be split into two parts. Take (竹), meaning bamboo, and Shita (下), meaning below.
Miiko (みいこ) has no meaning, but could be a reference to Miko (巫女), which means "shrine maiden."

- In addition to horror movies, Miiko is also interested in paranormal mysteries.[3]
- Miiko is the only character in D4DJ Groovy Mix that has broken the fourth wall for once, although indirectly.
- Miiko dislikes sad stories.
- Miiko always speaks in third person. Although some characters like Marika and Michiru sometimes speak in third person, Miiko does not use any other pronouns to refer to herself.
- She often ends her sentences with "なの〜" (nano).
- She is the shortest member of Lyrical Lily.
- She has traveled to many foreign countries with her father.
- Learned from her overseas travels, Miiko also knows many languages, which includes English, Chinese, Spanish, French, Russian, Malay, Arabic, and Portuguese.[4] She also understands Morse code. Despite her fluency in English, it is one of her weakest subjects at school because she doesn't understand grammar.
