Their relationship has gotten better after she had a sleepover at Muni's house in order to create a song that has Muni's image. After that particular sleepover, Rei refers to her as "Muni-san" instead of her usual and formal "Ohnaruto-san". Rei takes interest in the various foods Muni introduces to her (such as cup ramen), and in return, she encourages Muni to add more vegetables to her diet.
Marika and Rei are acquainted through Rei's older sister, who is an actress and model. In one of their live dialogues, Rei says that she admires Marika's mature outlook.
